I have planted some Romanesco cauliflowers (my boyfriend says there is no need to grow “normal” veggies if there are some more interesting variaties to grow). a hybrid blue cauliflower and… Brussel sprouts… Read somewhere that a 7 l bucket is enought for a broccoli, so… maybe it IS possible..

Thanks for the tips. I just topped up on organic feed so I should have enough to keep me going for a while. The broccoli isn’t looking the best since transplanting and I’m not sure why so I replaced them with new transplants. Hopefully these ones will do a bit better.

Hi, changing the link did the job.We had broccoli last year ,grows about 24 to 30 ins tall. Needs plenty of organic compost or manure as it is a hungry feeder which does not suit the requirements of carrots but will for the lettuce.You have grown things against the odds anyway and made a success of it so just try it and see!
